WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Our story began not with a business plan, but with a family's resilience.
For generations, our family worked in the pipefitting trade. But when a job-site injury sidelined our founder, John Watrach Sr., it sparked an unexpected new beginning. With a baby on the way and a deep need to provide, he started taking on small residential painting and remodeling jobs—everything from “honey-do” lists to full bathroom renovations.
One project led to another, and before long, a client gave us the chance to take on our first commercial job. We jumped in with both feet—learning, adapting, and working through the bumps. That opportunity opened the door to more commercial work, and over the next 30 years, John Sr. built the company into a trusted name in specialized commercial construction.
Today, that legacy continues with Johnny Watrach Jr., who’s proud to carry on what his father started. Other members of the Watrach family are also actively involved in the business, each bringing their own strengths while upholding the same values that shaped the company from the start.
